What To Expect Quick Tips:

Be prepared to have the following:

  1. Complete this transaction on a desktop computer.
  2. Have your Visa/Mastercard debit or credit card you plan to use in front of you.
  3. Have the customer service number to your banking or credit card institution ready. This number is found on the back of your card.
  4. You will be asked to submit (upload) a CLEAR, HIGH QUALITY photo of you (a 'selfie') holding the credit card used for payment. The card's first and last digits MUST be visible, along with the name on the card and the expiration date. Do this before you get started and save it to an easy to find location on your computer.
  5. You will also be asked to provide verification with a Government Issued ID. This can be a driver's license, international ID or passport. You will need to upload both the front and back sides during the verification process. Once again, do this before you get started and save it to an easy to find location on your computer.

STEP 1. How many Bitcoin would you like to purchase?

From the Buy Bitcoin page you can choose how many Bitcoins you'd like to buy. You can enter the amount of BTC or the amount in USD you would like to purchase. The next step will be to enter your own Bitcoin address. BitcoinByCredit.com doesn't keep your Bitcoins in our wallet (which is a good thing). This means you'll need to get a Bitcoin Wallet before continuing. Here is one of the many wallets to choose from out there.

STEP 2. Billing Info
  • Take your time.
  • Enter Your Personal Details and Billing Address for the card being used.
  • Do NOT autofill fields.
  • Date Field uses European Date (Day First/Month Second/Year Last).
  • Make sure you enter your MOBILE NUMBER.
  • Confirm the Order Summary Amount you entered is accurate.
  • Select Continue.


STEP 3. First Payment Email & Phone Verification
  • Have your email ready.
  • Check your inbox (or in some cases, the spam folder) and verify by clicking the link.
  • You will also be asked to verify a 4-digit code sent to your mobile.
  • Select Continue.


STEP 4. Payment Details
  • Enter the information for the card being used.
  • Select Pay Now.


STEP 5. Cardholder Verification
  • You can verify by either your email or mobile number.
  • Select the appropriate phone number or email address.
  • Select Continue.


STEP 6. Verification Using One-Time Passcode
  • Enter the One-Time Passcode.
  • Select Submit.


STEP 7. Payment Authorization
  • Your payment is being authorized.
  • Make sure you don't close the window.
  • Wait for the Step 3 Verification to begin.


STEP 8. Selfie Credit Card Authorization
  • You will be asked to submit (upload) a CLEAR, HIGH QUALITY photo of you (a 'selfie') holding the credit card used for payment. The card's first and last digits MUST be visible, along with the name on the card and the expiration date. Do this before you get started and save it to an easy to find location on your computer.


STEP 9. Verification with Government Issued ID
  • You will also be asked to provide verification with a Government Issued ID. This can be a driver's license, international ID or passport. You will need to upload BOTH the front and back sides during the verification process. Once again, do this before you get started and save it to an easy to find location on your computer.
  • You will be asked to upload the image of the FRONT SIDE of your ID first. Select the file and click Upload Document. Once completed you will be asked "Do you want to Upload another file?". Select YES and upload the BACK SIDE image of your ID.
  • Note - our system does not confirm visually that the images are uploaded successfully. Once both have been uploaded, you can select NO to uploading another file.



STEP 10. Thank You Payment Is Being Processed
  • Simplex is currently verifying your transaction. It is possible that you will notice a charge in your credit card account. This is only an authorization check, automatically made in order to reserve the amount in case the payment is approved. If the payment doesn't go through (cancelled, expired or failed), this authorization check will be voided in no more than 48 hours, and you will not see the charge in your account.
  • Please note, some first-time transactions may be escalated for a manual approval. This is the message you will receive by email if this is the case:“For security reasons, your payment is currently being reviewed for manual approval - an analyst will go over it shortly. This should take no longer than 48 business hours. We apologize for the inconvenience - this was done to assure your safety. Future transactions should prove much faster.”
